Patrick Gardener

Patrick Gardener is a multidisciplinary artist, obsessed with investigating new methods, materials and concepts to express himself.

His formation as an Architect in his early years opened his curiosity in such manners he just had to keep digging and experimenting new forms of creation.

“ Cassette tape knitting” series is a new way of painting, of recycling, of giving a new life to old cassette tapes. They are based on Patrick Gardener own music collection. Using loose ribbon tapes and upcycling their music sheets as a background for his creations, this series portrays celebrities and musicians such as David Bowie, John Lennon , Jimi Hendrix,, and Jim Morrison.

Each art pieces are originals, signed and titled in the back.
